William R. Hackett, CEO and President.

William R. Hackett, CEO and President has held key leadership positions in aerospace, industrial, and consumer businesses. He enjoyed a 20 year progressive career at GE- Consumer & Industrial and GE Aerospace. He left GE to become Executive Vice President of ESAB, a $140 million industrial business that he successfully returned to growth and profitability. He later joined Beloit Corp., a $1+ billion multinational, where he restructured global operations, served as the Executive VP of their Paper Group, a $500 million P&L, and later became Operating Executive for the Corporation, where he oversaw its reorganization. As a consultant, he has helped launch early stage companies and orchestrated business turnarounds.

Raymond J. Muzzy, VP Business Operations

Raymond J. Muzzy, VP Business Operations has over 20 years of management experience as a Vice President and a Director in the computer, electronic and capital equipment industries. Operational experience includes all aspects of business and product life cycles from inception, development, prototyping, product launch, production, product support, and sales financing. He developed and directed Silicon Graphics internal $100 million financing organization moving it from loss to profitability. Later, Ray provided strategic and operational business support to the Treasurer. At KLA-Tencor, Ray built and directed the multifunctional product support organization that improved service productivity/profitability, significantly reduced time to successful marketing of new products and reduced life cycle costs. He also created and directed technical results-oriented organizations at Rohm Computer Systems, General Electric and Lockheed. Ray's education includes BS and MS Engineering Degrees from the University of California-Berkeley and Stanford University and a MBA from Santa Clara University.

David A. Lemert, Director of Finance and Administration.

David A. Lemert, Director of Finance and Administration has more than 15 years experience as Director of Finance, Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and VP of Finance and Administration. He has also been a Sarbanes-Oxley Consultant at Hitachi Data Systems, Commerce One and Zoran. Mr. Lemert was the Director of Finance and Administration at Target Therapeutics during its successful IPO. He was Director of Finance and Administration, and acting CFO of Appstream, Inc., CFO at Telmax Communications and Pinpoint Software. In addition, he was Controller for several companies. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Entercept Security Technologies. Mr. Lemert's education includes a MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University.

Roland Fredriksen, Chief Technical Officer.

T. Roland Fredriksen, Chief Technical Officer has been associated with the development of industrial quality assurance systems for 26 years and is a recognized expert in semiconductor wafer testing. He was the founder of ACT GmbH, a German instrumentation firm that was acquired by KLA Corporation, a world leader in semiconductor process instrumentation. He was also the President of the European operations of Tokyo Seimitsu. Mr. Fredriksen has seven issued patents and invented the "automatic prober", an electrical wafer testing system used by virtually every wafer manufacturer in the world. Mr. Fredriksen is a technical expert in SCANIS' core image processing and analysis technology. He provides technical support for SCANIS technology and product development in medical imaging and industrial applications. Mr. Fredriksen holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Richard Chesarek,Ph.D., Director of Product Development.

Richard Chesarek, Ph.D., Director of Product Development, manages SCANIS' MAMMEX engineering and systems integration. He has 25 years of experience in technology industries including 16 years in the medical imaging field. Dr. Chesarek previously was SCANIS' Program Manager at the TRW Center for Medical Image Analysis. Prior to TRW, he was with Siemens Medical Systems, Quantum Medical Systems, Boeing Aerospace and Hughes Aircraft Company managing both software and hardware development. His Ph.D. in Computer Science is from the University of California, Los Angeles in addition to a MSEE from Stanford University. He has 3 issued patents.

Theo Spangenberg, European Marketing Director.

Theo Spangenberg, European Marketing Director is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He has 35 years of experience in the medical device industry including establishing European marketing for US, European and Japanese medical device companies. Mr. Spangenberg has BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration and Economics and is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French.

Robert E. Miller, Financial Consultant.

Robert E. Miller, Financial Consultant has over 12 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer for companies up to $650 million. He has served as VP and CFO for several entrepreneurial companies and as Treasurer of Mead Corporation, a $4.2 billion company. Mr. Miller's early career was with Merrill Lynch and Blyth Eastman Dillion, Inc., where he was Vice President, Investment Banking. His education includes a BA in Economics from Stanford University and a MBA in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Robert L. Chapman, Consultant.

Robert L. Chapman, Consultant has a 30 year track record in the development of business organizations, general management, strategic planning, marketing and problem solving. He has been the CEO of three high technology start-ups including a medical device company that he founded, and directed the global marketing and sales of medical imaging products and electron devices for a $1.4 billion company. His education includes the MIT Sloan School of Management’s Executive Program in Corporate Strategy, Stanford University business courses and a BS degree in Engineering Physics.
