Robert L. Chapman, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President.

Robert L. Chapman, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Chapman has a 29 year track record in the development of business organizations, general management, strategic planning, marketing and problem solving. He has been the CEO of three high technology start-ups including a medical device company that he founded, and directed the global marketing and sales of medical imaging products and electron devices for a $1.4 billion company. His education includes the MIT Sloan School of Management’s Executive Program in Corporate Strategy, Stanford University business courses and a BS degree in Engineering Physics.

Robert E. Miller, Board member and Chief Financial Officer.

Robert E. Miller, Board member and Chief Financial Officer has over 12 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer for companies up to $650 million. He has served as VP and CFO for several entrepreneurial companies and as Treasurer of Mead Corporation, a $4.2 billion company. Mr. Millerís early career was with Merrill Lynch and Blyth Eastman Dillion, Inc., where he was Vice President, Investment Banking. His education includes a BA in Economics from Stanford University and a MBA in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Michael J. Bennett, Ph.D., Board Member, Regulatory Officer and Assistant Secretary

Michael J. Bennett, Ph.D., Board Member, Regulatory Officer and Assistant Secretary has been CEO of three medical device companies, including a venture backed development stage company, and President of three operations within the Thermo-Electron group. He has published 35 scientific papers and holds 3 patents. Dr. Bennett has served on the boards of directors of several medical device companies. Dr. Bennettís Ph.D. is from the University of West London for pioneering work in medical devices.

Robert J. Mantz, Director of Operations.

Robert J. Mantz, Director of Operations joined the SCANIS staff early in 2002. Mr. Mantz is responsible for corporate operations including oversight of engineering, administration of FDA work including clinical sites, contract management and employee matters. He also participates with the CEO in business alliance development. Mr. Mantz was with TRW for 24 years. His B.S. degree is in physics with a biomedical engineering minor.

Raymond A. Schulz, Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Raymond A. Schulz, Vice President of Marketing and Sales has 25 years of experience in medical imaging marketing including early stage development and launch of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and digital holograph systems. Previously involved in computational imaging physics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the Neurological Institute of Columbia-Presbyterian and EMI Medical, Mr. Schulz also has extensive experience in imaging technology, medical start-ups, and regulatory work. Degreed in physics and computer science, Schulz has published 10 papers and over 140 abstracts. Mr. Schulz's MSc is from Columbia University in Computer Science.

Donald P. Kilinski, Director of North American Sales.

Donald P. Kilinski, Director of North American Sales has 22 years of experience in medical device sales and marketing, 12 of which were in medical imaging. Mr. Kilinski marketed medical CAT scan, MRI and ultrasound products. His BSEE (equivalent) degree is from the DeVry Institute.

Theo Spangenberg, European Marketing Director.

Theo Spangenberg, European Marketing Director is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He has 35 years of experience in the medical device industry including establishing European marketing for US, European and Japanese medical device companies. Mr. Spangenberg has BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration and Economics and is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French.
