Restoring confidence in mammography -
exactly when it's needed most.
MAMMEX’s superior design is expected
to assist both new and seasoned radiologist’s ability to improve
patient outcomes and reduce medical costs. Besides improving abnormality
detection, clinical experience has shown that the MAMMEX can reduce
the film reading time of less experienced radiologists
the system's speed allows for the processing of mammograms
while the patient is still in the mammography clinic, potentially
reducing the need for patient recalls. Its ability to support a
radiologist’s detection of abnormalities may also help reduce
the number of unnecessary biopsies. MAMMEX can improve the accuracy
of their diagnosis. It’s also an excellent source of continuing
education and training for technologists
Giving you increased interpretation confidence
Our primary product, the MAMMEX™ MammoCAD
(computer aided detection) system, assists radiologists in early
detection of breast cancer. It is intended to provide clinical decision
support to radiologists by automatically locating abnormalities
in mammograms for further evaluation. The MAMMEX system takes advantage
of advanced imaging techniques that have the ability to tirelessly
analyze more information that the brain can absorb. It is a digital
system that can scan film mammograms or take direct input from direct
digital mammography x-ray machines.
From the company's beginning, SCANIS has combined
advanced digital image analysis, high end computing power and mathematical
algorithms to help physicians make more informed diagnosis of film
based mammograms.
